Oops! :roll: I misread WWI as WWII. Okay, that's a little more respectable stretch. Nothing to write home about, but definitely a different era.
In fact, that was something of a unique time. We had the Roaring 20's, followed by the Depression, followed by WWII, followed by the Golden Age of Suburban America (the 50's), followed by the 60's. And especially during thr latter half of that period, we were nice, respectful people who by and large believed in our government and in corporate America and in the American dream.
Where am I going with this? Nowhere. Just rambling.
