You know, I considered that as part of the ending but I decided against it since the steak had been down the one legged man's shorts. Now, if the dumb man was a steak vendor of sorts, then they could eat steaks that were still fresh and that occupation would explain where the dumb man found a steak in the first place.

The steak vendor was blind's wife, that is why the one-legged kept kissing her, he was hoping for free steaks... the dumb figured that out.. So the one-legged got his steak along with a good lesson.
