Given that Bengalooru has use and throw culture [for everthing from things to humans ] I took the remote to my village for repair. The guy repaired in 5 minutes. Now I can control the TV using the remote

I am planning to sell this TV and get a new one. Dont want to get into more problems

Your TV is an antique piece. Sell it to any museum, you will get good money.

Yes it a new one. I should have gone to big bazaar to get it for 5,400
