"I am not repeating this again" ,Tom iterated

"Where would you like to go today?", Bill emulated.

Interesting. We're slowly inventing a subtly different, but intimately related, kind of joke: the kind which depends on special knowledge of the identity of the speaker.

"I am NOT working for Pepsi again!", MJ flamed.

"Did you say Aaron Burr? That guy's crazy!", Alex shot back.

"I haven't come up with any new songs lately", Alanis said ironically.

These are not classic Swifties; they're something else, for which we need a name. Proposals gladly accepted.

"I can't think of any English words that have all five (sometimes six) vowel in alphabetical order," Ryan said facetiously.

The only good ones I can think of are dirty and since I don't have any more cows to take away it'll probably get me banned

Not if you can tell us them while going without drinks.

If you're accusing me of drunken posting, I don't drink (or drug), for reasons I also can't mention here. LOL

Somebody who doesn't drink should be aware of an English word with all 5 vowels in order.

Yes, it's the word used when you drop a brick on your foot: "AEIOU!"

Rick Branties? Am I missing a pun or an allusion to someone/something, or is Rick Branties just an essentially random name meant to be distiguishable from Tom Swifty?

The Rick Brant series of books was another set of science/adventure books for young people.

I voraciously read all of the Tom Swift Jr and Tom Swift Sr books, the Rick Brant series, and the Power Boys as well. I was a science geek even as a kid.

I can't post here the first word I would say in that situation...

"I have some feedback for the end of our sprint," Tom said in retrospect.
Is that a spider in your hair? Here, threaten it with this tiny ad:
