Oracle to buy BEA???

Where's the fun in that - stopping all the job hopping.. Think about all the extra industries that exist to support this: recuitment consultants, HR staff... what would they do...

Maybe the current lack of cheap credit may impact on the amount of company takeovers.

Still expect Oracle will get BEA, BEA has such a good product list - just a game of cat and mouse...

Think I'll start learning JBoss.

You wont have to download connector/j separately. It will come with the JDK.

Makes sense mind - as (from what little I see) a lot of companies like the confort of dealing with one supplier.
