I agree with JP. In first season of IPL we saw some good cricket. But in second IPL I felt that all matches was fixed or had unexpected result. From now onwards I do not watch matches of IPL although I am big fan of cricket. Doesn't matter what the team is..! I watch only cricket but this time I am watching

During the last competition there was token coverage on the evening news on TV and nothing anywhere else that I noticed (in Oz). I would be unable to tell you anything about any team or match and more time was spent discussing players that weren't going due to schedule conflicts.
You can watch all IPL matches on 1 HD channel, in Australia.

Personally, I consider IPL just entertainment and not serious cricket. After watching few of the IPL matches in the last couple of seasons, I have stayed away from watching any of them this season. It's mainly because I find that there's an air of artificial excitement generated with all kinds of non-cricketing things involved in IPL. I even find the commentators going overboard (which is irritating) for every shot hit.
Today Deccan Chargers won the match. Reason?
VVS Laxman was not allowed to play.
VVS should understand that this is a 20 over a side game, not a 20 day match.
He should evaluate himself before offering to play.
Team management should fire him, it is better to have 1 less player than having him in a T20 team.
