I meant to say Java(Servlet,Jsp) and JS completely different Aspect , how you were able to hold grip on both ?

Are you looking to write on Node.js ?

As with any other programming language, by writing lots and lots of code.

But one important key to learning JavaScript, especially for those of us coming to it from Java, is to realize that it is not Java. Just because the syntax may be similar does not mean they are in any way alike. By not expecting JavaScript to act like Java, and to approach it on its own terms, is a key step to understanding the language.

Are you looking to write on Node.js ?

Right now, I've got my hands full with client-side coding. Perhaps someday...

We have one in mind, but I know it's going to slip. We have lot's of great ideas for making this a really great book and it's gonna take a little more time. However, unlike the 1st edition, the MEAP will not be dragging out for an excessive period.

Thinking Spring of 2016.

I think that would be a fun process to write a book like this. I wish I had the required level of expertise on something to do that.

Maybe after I retire...

It is fun. But it's also a lot of work. More work that anyone who's never done it yet can imagine. I highly recommend it.
