A quick minor update. It looks like the Nintendo Switch is releasing two Pokemon games soon...

And it looks like these games will have integration with Pokemon Go. As such, the Pokemon Go community is expecting lots of returning players. This should be interesting...

Hee hee...

As an added note, I kinda disagree with one of the points (in the video). The game has added a ridiculous number of features this year, that the number of crashes has skyrocketed. Heck, the phone even reports that the application has stopped (ie. crashed), when it wasn't even running. There has been many recent occasions when the game is not playable -- especially when you are needed to help out with raids, gym battles, etc.

Hope I'm not the only one who has no notion what Pokemon is about except It's a mobile game.

Not that I won't adore to play games, 10 years ago I used to play Counter Strike, FIFA, cricket and Age of empire. I was such addicted to games, I do remember once spent 14 hours in that game zone ( I didn't have computer/ laptop in those days).

My boys and I made a second pass at playing it about a year ago.  It was fun for a little bit, but then I came to the conclusion that I really don't like the grind of keeping my phone on everywhere we walk and having to defeat the same gyms (often the same people's pokemon's) and spin flippin pokestops every day.
But you do you!

Just for the record, no-one that I know really likes the grind either. It's bad. We have many players in the neighborhood that quit. We have players that don't play unless there is an event. We have players that only play when a new legendary comes out, and then quit again once caught. Personally, on some days, I just step out to get the catch / swipe / stamp of the day. And perhaps do a raid if I have time. At night, I just take one or two gyms for coins -- no longer taking anywhere near what I used to take.

In other words, it's still good to play to get some exercise or while running errands, but, I don't think many players grind anymore.

Hee Hee. Only a fellow trainer would understand the significant of those numbers....

Too bad there are very little reasons to friend a trainer that you will never battle, raid, or trade with... or I would send an invite.

It depends on where you live.  Different regions have different pokemon, so a trading with someone half-way around the globe would be worthwhile.

Bumping this topic with some news !! ...

Niantic / Pokemon Company just announced the addition of PvP -- ie. Player vs. Player battles -- for Pokemon Go. This is significant for two reasons. One. It may be the foundation for multiple battle types, likely leading to tournaments, in the future. And two. This completes the feature set mentioned in the trailer for Pokemon Go, released 2 1/2 years ago, when it was first announced in 2016!

This news is all hype at the moment. Will know more in a month...

I'm on the field more than a decade and can confirm you  Cyber Security is yet for specialists as was in the past so for the mass to get awareness we need some further decades
