The code works fine. But I want to show the error message and get back to login page itself. Or can i give a popup in index.html itself to enter user name and password?

Yes, that's a better approach.  These validations should be done at client side.

I have written the following code in my index.html I just included div tag for username and password. Is the code correct. Because I tried running the code But it didn't gave me output.
