1) i want to print out 5 to the power 10. how do i write that in java?


2) '=' means equals to.

how do i write ' is not equal to ' for example 'if 5 is not equal to 6, say so'

a = 7;
means: assign the value 7 to var a
'=' is the assign operator; the equals symbol is '=='

what numerical range do longs have?

does double exceed long?


Also the DOS prompt only shows 15 decimal places, what if i want to see more decimal places? do i make a GUI and display it in that?
