Hello! JavaRanch generously offered to host my book, Beginning Java Objects, Second Edition, as this week's book of the week. Problem is, we decided to hold a discussion on the Intermediate Java board ... but, my book is definitely for beginners!

I wrote B.J.O. specifically with beginners in mind! You needn't have had any prior OO experience to read my book ... I assume only the most basic programming expertise (what is a function? what is a variable?) on the part of my readers.

So, perhaps you'd like to take a peek at what's going on in the Java in General (intermediate) discussion group ... ?

Best regards,

Jacquie
