I'm just starting out w/ JSP/J2EE and I'm looking at hosting packages (at Daily Razor)...the deals are pretty good and they have one which comes w/ a private 64mb heap and another w/ 128. Obviously, the 64 is more affordable...but is it sufficient?

I might host my blog (jsp, db4o object database) and some sample applications to preview to people...nothing really along the lines of "enterprise" applications though.

Let me know your thoughts!

It doesn't get any sweeter in terms of monitoring your memory.

I don't think it's possible to guess your requirements. The range is massive and you really should measure your footprint and compute your average session size then extrapolate.
