So it seems a great migration may soon take place from the suburbian trailer park to a rooftop near you.
The Loft Cube
Hope they never have to call the police...it will be a hell of a response time.

I believe more than a few are on order in London and it's catching across the Big Ditch.
Brings new meaning to "Pad in the city". For those who move to new cities, just flat pack and go. A really strong wind could blow it over and off the roof IMO.

I guess the occupiers will be well versed in the art of 'Le Parkour'.

55,000 Euros. Hmmm. Need a place to park.
Or would it be moor. Or port.
In addition get the first bird's eye view of the terrorists. In Palestine and Iraq they come equipped with missile firing equipment.

It's really attractive assuming that the plumbing and electricals work. Cheap and beautiful.

I can't believe he suggested construction cranes or freight helicopters to move these things... wouldn't it be more appropriate for a "transient... cosmic rooftop community" to just strap balloons to their "Loft Cube" and floating them to their next landing pad. I mean, who has the time to wait for or the money to rent a freight helicopter or construction crane? And who wouldn't want to become an aerial gypsy with a flying Winnebago?

The other thing I wonder about is where the toilet is in those things? I can see the shower (with reversable head to water the plants), but I don't see any obviouse toilet. Maybe it's that unlabeled thing with the weird handles on the back of the sink wall...

Little Cube on the Prairie
The original cube set pretty high on a hill.
Container Condos
Note the ability to stack 'em one on the other. (Must be human instinct).
These loft cubes will soon be stacked up high like Legos to the ultimate penthouse Loft Cube.
No sign of the toilets. Perhaps they come with Port-a-loos. German toilets are designed differently ; anyones guess.
And note the giant dancing people on the river in the first Flash menu option.
