controls not visible in small frame

If I set the frame size as say setSize(400, 250) the controls are not visible initially with this size.

After if I maximize it once and then bring it back to 400 x 250 it becomes visible.

How to make it visible without maximizing and then shortening it.

Posting some code would help so we can see what's happening. It's probably a layout issue, have you tried using pack() before making it visible?

Thank You very much. It is working well by using pack().

It will be nice if you can help me to create an exe file of a Java class which can run in any system or platform where java or JRE is not installed.

Please help me if you can since I am struggling with it for the last 3 days of my project.

That would be nice. :roll:

An exe is specific to Windows, and it's the JRE that makes Java "platform independent."
