I noticed that my night dreams are dull, or more often I don't have them at all, while if I manage to sleep during the day, chances are I will see something weird. But last two were just two weird. One was actually a movie that I watched. It had some scenes constantly repeated, and these repetitions were interspersed with the linear plot. The repetitions weren't dull, there was some eerie artistic quality in the whole thing.

Another wasn't a movie, it like "really" happened to me. I was in a very big room, with lots of people working, although I cannot say what exactly they were doing, mostly walked from one table to another with same papers and talked. Looked like pretty chaotic and relaxed environment. And there was the same repetition effect. Several times, for example, a man started to shout at a woman, and another man run to them always from the sam edirection, fell on the floor and laughed. This scene had the same artistic quality, it didn't feel like anything from real life, more like a part of some ritual dance.

I usually can interpret my dreams somehow, but this is just too weird, totally baffles me.

I was in a very big room, with lots of people

That's JavaRanch -- 70K members.

although I cannot say what exactly they were doing, mostly walked from one table to another with same papers and talked. Looked like pretty chaotic and relaxed environment.

Meaningless Drivel. "Chaotic" came from the reality, "relaxed" came from the unfulfilled wish about the MD. The "papers" are quotes and links.

And there was the same repetition effect.

I was just thinking the other day -- how do the sheriffs and bartenders with 8000+ posts and several years of membership go on? It's all the same cow manure over and over again: "Your name is not in accordance with the policy", "Please use the *code* UBB when posting code", "Always override hashCode() when overriding equals()", "Abortions and gay marriages are a civil right and a bad thing to do", "The war is a bad thing, but it is our civil right to defend our country", "The Bible is a literal word of God, but don't take it literally", "And whatever you do, don't use Vectors".

Several times, for example, a man started to shout at a woman

Such a nature of the MD debates.

and another man run to them always from the same direction

The reference to the predictable and hard positions of the many MDers. The "direction" is a political "left" and "right".

fell on the floor and laughed.

That's a difficult one, I've got to think about the interpretation. But from the top of my head, it's me. How else should I react if someone says, "I want to be decapitated if this will prevent another 911"?

This scene had the same artistic quality, it didn't feel like anything from real life, more like a part of some ritual dance.

Ah, now this is something pretty good. But I will not interpret this for you -- the meaning will be lost in translation.

"Weird dreams"... as opposed to "Silly Dreams", by the Dead Milkmen?

I had a dream you came back to my house
You changed your mind
I had a dream you came back to my house
To spend some time

You said you'd only stay a week
You brought two cats for me to keep
And told me not to feed them tuna or they'd throw up

I fed them tuna and they threw up
For hours and hours and hours and hours
I was amazed at all the stuff
That came from those little bodies of theirs

It was puffy like a sponge
The color of the sidewalk
And it smelled like the dirty rags beneath the sink

I had a dream you came back to my house
And robbed me blind
You took my stereo, CD's, and tapes and books
You left nothing behind

I woke up and you were next to me
But I knew it was just a dream
I woke up again, you were a thousand miles away

AW "word association" is the only competitor to that thread and we know now it could be again at top anytime (if we are free ), just we need little help from Shura to search that thread
