is there any sleep() , delay ,.... method which delay execution of application ?

I need to have a Sleep() or delay() or any other function which could delay execution of my application
for some MicroSecond , i should tell that i need to have delay in MicroSeconds .
can some one help me with this problem ?

This is really a beginner's questions. In general, google is faster than news groups or discussion forums; so try "sleep java", assuming you do not have an introductory Java book handy.

There is a static method "sleep" in the Thread class which does what you want.
