Os over all, the West seems to think that soon India's high-flying IT companies will experience changes in their operating environment.


??? I suspect there are as many opinions as people. I suspect that the outsourcers are going to find that prices are higher and (perhaps) the quality lower than a few years ago.

plus the Indian companies may well find a government less willing to help them as the more traditional sentiments professed by the congress party take hold in the bureaucracy.

Higher taxes, longer procedures, more restrictions on building projects etc.

It is too early to predict anything. The person who is heading the IT ministry in the new government is very young and a successful business man. If anyone think the communist will abandon IT, read the following article. I couldn't believe what I was reading...
