can we write Exception handling in Constructor?

ok... rama see to that u post at right places... anyway the answer is yes.. hey and jus think of it this way.. constructor is also a method. as we know that anymethod can trow exception. and constructor is a method which is being called when u create an object.

eg:

class test
{
  test()throws Exception
   {
         System.out.println("i am test constructor");
         throw new Exception(); 
    }
}
 
public class testConstructor
{
   public static void main(String ar[])
   {
       try{
        test obj=new test();
          }catch(Exception e){System.out.println("constructor can throw exception");}
   }
}
