read a lot of the posts here, and at sun's 'new to java' forum, where you will find plenty of assignments posted verbatim

I have to write a program that inputs 5 dogit integer from the keyboard and print if the input is a palindrome or not.

Example

12921 is a palindrome.
12923 is not palindrome

I agree. There are a lot of homework assignments here, there was even one about a few days ago, that contained about 16 really good assignments -- probably the homework for the whole semester...

It is probably on the second page of this forum by now.
