Have you looked into the doc folder?

I just downloaded http://www.spinellis.gr/sw/ckjm/ckjm-1.7.tar.gz and extracted it to my local hard drive and found "some" documentation in the doc folder.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
