Not sure if this is the right place to post this but...

I was installing the JDK (Windows Platform - J2SE and NetBeans IDE Bundle NB 5.0 / J2SE 5.0 Update 7) and I don't believe it was a succesful install. The post installation message said:

The Install Wizard has successfully installed NetBeans IDE 5.0 on your computer.

Choose Finish to exit the Wizard.

NetBeans IDE 5.0 installation location:

C:\Program Files\netbeans-5.0

J2SE Development Kit 5.0 Update 7 may have encountered errors during installation. Check the installation log below.

J2SE Development Kit 5.0 Update 7 installation location:
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_07

Installation log:
C:\Program Files\netbeans-5.0\_uninst\install-jdk.log

The installation log says:

Installing JDK...
Finished Installing JDK...

So I'm a little confused here, anyone have any ideas why it may have failed?

The java web install worked for me for some reason when the downloaded install didn't. Not sure exactly why but consider this issue resolved.
