Difference between JIT and JVM  RSS feed

Is there any difference between JIT and JVM. If yes then what are they..??

JIT(just intime compiler) is a part of jvm.i.e jvm contains bytecodeveryfier,jit,interpreter,gc,microprocessor,o.s etc..when we will compile at first time the code will be compiled(i.e step by step compilation) for next time onwords the code will be interpreted(at a time the code will be compiled) because compiler takes more time than interpreter.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
