ok in the method bind() for ServerSocket, it says it has the

parameters bind(SocketAddress endPoint)..

i looked at Socket Address, and its an abstact class, so how can

you pass an object of SocketAddress when you can't instantiate an abstract

class....

thanks,

Justin

You can pass a subclass of SocketAddress.

If I remember right, only one class in the API extends it: InetSocketAddress
