Sorry about the name - I had a problem registering at first and I thought it must have been because there was another Paul Carter on the Forums.
Is that even legal? I'd be very surprised if there weren't a number of legalities concerning porting someone else's game to a different platform.

Dark Tower was an old board game by MB released in 1981, which had an electronic tower to generate events via sounds and images - the images were on a spindle which rotated to the correct image and then lit up.
All I want to do is simulate the tower element, as a mobile phone would be a perfect replacement for a broken tower (the 12 buttons on a mobile phone would correspond perfectly to the 12 buttons on the tower).
The excellent Java version by Michael Bommer is available on the web with his source code, graphics and wavs - a great guy who's happy to share the resources and code he used for the game.
I really want to start from the ground up though, and thought a fellow fan would have a better idea of what I was trying to do - Guess it was a long shot.
Sorry if I broke your rules I'll just post generic questions and problems in future if that's ok - perhaps I can refer to it as Mystery Game X?

I erroneously assumed this was some kind of PC game that you were trying to create a J2ME version of using the original resources.
