How to Hide A Swing Application

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,

I'm trying to create a Swing Task Organizer type of application using Java. Does anybody have an idea how I can make it "hide" and then be readily retrievable from Windows Desktop? (sort of like a Microsoft Office OneNote in that even if you exit it, the next time you run the program the info is still there)

umm, write the info to a file, then update the info each time by reading from that file...

im not sure about the hide thing, i know you can do setVisible(boolean a);

like frame.setVisible(false);

and make a jar file, and when you execute the program,

see if the frame.isVisible(), and if it isn't, set it visible???

this might work,
