Hi all,

What is ad-hoc manner programming? I have come across this ad-hoc in many context, but don't the meaning. In oracle, also there is ad-hoc query? Can anyone explain this?

You might want to lookup the expression "ad hoc" in a dictionary.

It means more or less "on the spot". For programming, it means you have a problem, and right there and now write a "quick and dirty" little program to solve it, without thinking too much about the design of the program.
