Hi! Just wondering if there was an all-in-one guide/book that describes all the necessary parts to developing an application via Java, in particular web-apps?

I know that all apps are independent of one another, but what essential objects should each include or consider?

The Head First books are always well reviewed. The Servlet & JSP books might be just what you're after for web designs. Try the servlet forum and see Ben Souther's Simple Examples.

As far as a process, what to do first, next, last, that's a huge subject area of its own. There is a development Processes forum with some good experts in that kind of thing.
