Hi,

I am asking this for my friend. He wants to seriously learn Java and already bought a CD from sun.com. That was

Fundamental of the Java Programming Language CD

It cost him 635 dollars. My friend is new to programming. I just would know anybody used this product before and how you feel about it. My friend has not openned the CD.

Thanks a million,
Dan

What part number would that be?
I don't know about their CD courses, but their classroom training is excellent and the supplied course material for them is the same.

If it is the CJD-110 it will be extremely basic. If you have done any programming in the past you would be better off with the CJD-275A.

I priced the CDs from Sun and decided to pass. Sun has books too. I searched amazon.com and found several books that ll put together are much less than buying a CD from Sun.

I like too that on amazon.com all of the books are rated from zero to 5 stars.
