Dear Ranchers,
I would like anybody to please post me a source code where Simple eventListner is being implemented, prefarable something that has to do with buttons, sending texts to Textfileds as in simple calculator....

i have some codes that i am trying to study, but still kinda complex for me to comprehend..

Maybe a simple code to show like addition of two numbers and display the result, i will build on that to move on in my career.

Thanks.

Have you run through the Sun Swing Tutorial? The Sun materials are almost always great for an introduction to new APIs.

For my own part, I like my event listeners to do as little as possible, maybe one line that tells some non-Swing object (like your calculator object) that a button was pressed.

See what kind of code you can put together. The ranch works best when you show us something that almost works and we can help you get past whatever is holding you up.
