Arrays.equal method  RSS feed

I was told that i could compare arrays by using the 'Arrays.equal' method.

Could someone enlighten me on how to use this method, and other possible methods I could use as well.

First, refere to the java.util.Arrays documentation

Hi, welcome to the ranch!

First, bookmark a link into the JavaDoc for the JVM release you are using. Here's the 1.5 Doc. Go there and find your way to the Arrays class in the left column. Click that and see what the doc says about the equals() method.

Let us know if that makes things clear enough to get on with.
