regarding to run a java program on eclipse tool

hello ranchers

i am Chintan Ramavat
wanted to know if i want to use eclipse tool where is it on www.eclipse.org and do i need JRE from www.sun.com

help me out

yes i know that but when you download it, and unzip the .jar files and run eclipse.exe i am getting windows error saying unable to find.jar files i guess it's due to the JRE missing.

so my question is once Eclipse SDK 3.2.1 downloaded do i need JRE (latest) from sun, if so then , would you please tell me where on SUN.com

Yes, you do need to have a JDK or JRE installed if you want to run Eclipse - Eclipse is itself written in Java.

Download the JDK or JRE here: http://java.sun.com/javase

Note: If you want to do Java software development, get the JDK, not the JRE.
