Can we have 2 JVMs running on the same physical Machine..?
If so, can somebody please explain me the concept of the above statement...?

I mean,under which or what scenario, do we need such a situation....?

i am totally perplexed and i am not able to envisage the whole concept....

Sure. Why not? The JVM is simply a program like any other program in your operating system. And you often run two, or three, or several programs in different windows at the same time, do you not?

Actually if we have 3 versions of java installed on our machine and we want to use them according to our wish then whichever java.exe we put inside c:/WINDOWS/system32,that is used by our operating system.
How simultaneously it can be done,that you have to try it out.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
