Sorry I'm new to java. Any ideea from where can i start making java aplications for phones. I have some ideea on how java works. I can make small visual aplications etc....

How can I learn java for mobile phones ?

What you are looking for is J2ME. The API for J2ME is quite light and the way in which applications are deployed to phones and the way they are run is also different from the way J2SE works. You can develop applications using the wireless toolkit or WTK as it is popularly known. You can download it from the sun java web site.
