what is the term generic reference variable. I know reference var but what is generic, could anyone pls give some example... :roll:

Well, it depends on the context.

A reference variable of type Object, for example, can be considered a generic reference variable, since it can be used to reference any kind of object.

Or, in another context, it may be related to Generics...
