Would a person be prepared enough to move on to the Programmer's Guide to Java Certification book after completing the Java Actually book?

Thanks,

if you check the SCJP Exam Objectives and compare with TOC of Java Actually then you will defiantly get your answer. but what I am thinking is, Java Actually would help anyone to easily move SCJP Objectives with an Actual knowledge of Java.

Agree with your assessment. The book actually provides you the basics of Java programming. You could then dive into a book that just prepares you for the certification exam.

Welcome to Javaranch

I don't know whether you have any book store near by you, so there you can request this book if it is not available inside there. or second way to buy a book from Amazon.com

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
