Can JMS be used without application server. If possible, please give me one example.

Thanks & Regards

Sure. I did this a few years ago; we needed to put messages on an IBM MQSeries message queue. We just downloaded IBM's JMS library for MQSeries from IBM's website, put the JAR file in the classpath and so we could use JMS to put messages on the queue.

How to define my class methods which will be triggered, while a message reaches the Messaging Queue.

Please give me one sample example, so that I can run & see how it works.

An introduction to JMS can be found in the J2EE FAQ.
