The equals character in the value side of Properties file  RSS feed

I want to represent in a properties file, a name-value pair that looks like this:

Whereby the key is f and the value on the RHS is com.foo:style=x. Is this doable ? Thanks

I don't know but if you're having problems...

I read somewhere that objects of the class Preferences work better than objects of type Properties.

I did try out the ProperyResourceBundle and I believe that the ListResourceBundle has fewer problems because it gives you greater control (but of course it takes more coding).
