Hello everyone. My knowledge base is limited to basic web design, html, css...

I would like to expand that knowledge to a programming language and was thinking Java. My question is where is a good place to begin? Book suggestions, web sites to check out, anything to help would be much appreciated.

btw, I already own a copy of "Head First: JAVA"

Thanks!

Welcome to JavaRanch!

If you have Head First Java, then you have the ideal starting point. How far along are you? And how is it going?

There is also the "Cattle Ranch" on this site.
