You cricket loving Indians are fools. Having no performance from so so many matches, Tendulkar is still in the team. If it would be Australian team, they would have kicked out Tendular from the Team many months before. But you have the tendency of making tendular like people GOD. and that is what they (tendulkars) enjoy of the fools like you. They need people like you. And still you are watching cricket.

That is bit harsh. If some one don't like cricket or Tendulkar, that is fine. But calling others fools just because they like cricket (or they love Tendulkar) doesn't sound good.
2) Avoid the word "you". The word "you" frequently indicates a personal attack.

Having no performance from so so many matches, Tendulkar is still in the team.
Hmmm..here are some statistics.
In the last 5 tests, he has scored 550 runs at an average of 110 and has taken 5 wickets. In the last 5 one-day internationals, he has scored 263 runs at an average of 65.75. He also has taken 9 wickets. If some one think that this is a bad performance, then even having 11 Bradman won't satisfy them

If it would be Australian team, they would have kicked out Tendular from the Team many months before.
Might be. But Australians have so many wonderful players who have proved themselves consistent in the domestic matches. So, finding a replacement for Tendulkar won't be hard for them. But name a Indian player who can replace Sachin.

But you have the tendency of making tendular like people GOD.
Me? No. I don't consider him God. But I do consider him a very good player, the same way I admire other players like Dravid, S. Waugh, B. Lara..

And still you are watching cricket.
Yes. What is wrong with that?

Should learn to ignore it
I got my own troll comment, and atleast it's on topic: Who would have won the last day? Australian media where hopeful of our chances, given "Warnes form and the state of the pitch and one end". Apparently quite a few craters for Warne to pitch in to.

India ofcourse. Any doubt there?

Australian media where hopeful of our chances, given "Warnes form and the state of the pitch and one end".
And the Indian media were hopeful of our chances, given "the positive start made by Shewag and the Indian's ability to play spin" (ofcourse, Warne did get a lot of wickets in the first innings, but given the same conditions, he would have performed much much better againist any other teams).

Well, personally I predicted a 51-49 chance for India to pull the match. But after the first hour of last day's play, it would have been either 80-20 or 20-80. Funny game it is

So, a question for you DOM:
Would Australia drop Tendulkar given his current form, if he is playing for your team? If yes, whom do you think will be his replacement?

I don't think they'd drop him, no. There was talk for a very long time about whether the selectors would drop Steve Waugh but they never did. They did drop his brother and show their intentions by making Ponting captain of the ODI side.

There are worse players that Tendulkar though. I haven't been following too closely, but what is Laxman's record so far? Doesn't he have a reputation for playing brilliantly in Australia (watched him last year, beautiful!) but awful at home?

Getting back the previous game, I didn't believe Australia deserved to win, they're a much stronger batting and fielding team than that. It was nice to see the big score by Damien Martin. He'd be very close to being dropped otherwise.

Hey Pradeep and Mani, it wasn't a personal comment to you two. I didn't meant to hurt you two. I apologize for that. And Mani i have read the md.jsp. I didn't knew the inappropriate use of 'you' in this forum. For next time i will take care of that . No need to be angry guys. My meaning of criticisiting was just for the sake of cricket guys. You are giving me last 5 matches (1 day or test) data, but what had he really done in the last one year??? Why can't the team improve. If we are stuck with Tendulkar, then we would be stuck with tendular forever. Out of 1 billion can't we even find 10,000 crickets you are far better than Tendular. Think guys think. What we can think is we can achieve. There is a faaaaar much better way to improve the team. Don't get stuck to the old guys. Even java old versions have to be changed to new, so why not old players. So we need a change man. I think a whole renovation of Indian Cricket Team.

Well long back, there was a match refree called Mike Denness, who fined Sachin during a test match "for alleged interference with the match ball, thus changing its condition".
and today, after almost 3 years, he is yet to officate in a test match again
Well that's the stature of the man called "Tendulkar" in cricket and cricketing world.
Removing Tendulkar from Indian cricket team is as stupid as removing Tendulkar from Indian cricket team (did u got this line? )

Actually, he was brilliant aganist Aussies, be it at home or away. In the 2001 series (in India) he averaged 80+ aganist Australia (including the 281 at Kolkatta).
But this series...

Many people have suggested this to drop 'genious' players and give opportunity to hard working players from country. But then if cricket board drops 'geniuses',then there will be wave of mass suicides across the country. . Players must be chosen on their performance and not on their popularity or publicity.

Yes, of course, and I accept that blame. In fact, i covet that blame. As does this tiny ad:
