Just tried it. Much faster than using Outlook to do a search through my emails.

It's superfast.

All credit goes to google indexing mechanism.I think the technology is storing pointers of words in an index array or list(eg: linkedlist).And searching in that index array.There will be index arrays for index arrays.So getting this much fast search.

When java collections will be capable of these much fast performance?.Any google API?.

Try X1 Searching tool. It is much faster and can even search the text within a PDF.
