Hello, is there a way to clear the command line in Java?

This is actually a JavaRanch FAQ.

In short, there is no simple, elegant way to do that.
There are only some workarounds, but none of them are really good.

What are you trying to accomplish, do you really need it?

ok Thanks.. I have read the 'Faq' & its not worth clearing the screen for me..

However I have another question: Can I do something like:

"Press any key to continue" in Java?
