I want to go for sun certified java associate and programmer exams. Is there any exams I have to take to appear for these exams. Because, when
I was browsing through java.sun.com, I read something like "I have to pass exam". As Sun certified Java associate is the first step, what exam do I have to pass to appear for this certification ?

For MCSE certification, vouchers are available at discount prices on the web. Can we get that kind of discounted vouchers for Sun Certified exams ? If yes, from where ?

Thanks

If you check Sun's Java certification page, you will see that there are no prerequisites for the SCJA (associate) and SCJP (programmer) exams.

Note that the SCJA exam is not required for the SCJP exam. You can begin with either of these.

If you're a programmer I would go for the SCJP-exam.
