what is a public interface???

Hi Sonia,
the word interface is overloaded in java ie it can mean two things, an interface that you can implement, so in that case a public interface is just an interface declared public...like public interface MyInterface

but the word interface is also used to designate the public methods of your class or those methods of your class that other classes should know about.... so in that case public interface is a collection of public methods that your class exposes to other classes like the getter and setter methods....

hope this clears your doubts

thank you...
what if we put solar panels on top of the semi truck trailer? That could power this tiny ad:
a bit of art, as a gift, the permaculture playing cards
