Today is Remembrance Day, so let us spare a few minutes of thought for all those people who made tremendous sacrifices doing something that many of us wouldn't have the courage to do. Eighty Six years ago today, at 11:00am, one of the most terrible events in human thankfully history came to a close. Let us also hope that we never have to go through something as awful as that again.
Recently I heard a speech at a university graduation ceremony. The person giving the speech said, of his generation that had lived through at least one of the wars : "Our generation did a very bad job of its stewardship of the planet. Lets hope yours can do better". With any luck we can do so.
