I want to store my compiled java files in a directory called "C:\Test" Test is the directory and my java file "Foo.java" in the C:\ drive. But when i want to compile through command prompt I use the command "javac -d ../Foo.java" and
"javac -d C:/Test Foo.java", then it shows that "directory not found Test".

Are you using Windows or a different operating system?

On Windows, you must use \ (backslash) and not / (forward slash) for directory names.
