+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi ,
The IDE am using in my laptop is ECLIPSE. I scanned my D drive and found virus in the folder where IDE was placed. After healing the virus and formatting the C drive. I tried to open the Eclipse by clicking the eclipse icon it is not at all getting opened. I donno why it is not getting opened. I removed the eclipse and reinstalled the eclipse but still it is not getting opened. I cant find the problem.
Now I installed only jdk 1.2. can anyone state the problem and provide me solution to use the IDE.
Thanks in Advance.

You need something newer than JDK 1.2 for Eclipse to work. For the current version of Eclipse, I think you need at least Java 1.4. So, first install Java 1.4 or newer, and then try again to start Eclipse.

Thank you for the reply. Will install jdk 1.4 or above and try it.
