Hi

I want to know how does the marker interface work.A marker/tagged interface is an interface which doesn't have a body, and if it does'nt have any then how it works when we implement them. For eg. Serilizable is an example,we implement them to make object eligible for serialization without implementing any of its abstract methods.

Hello "Sidharth JavaGeek"-

Welcome to JavaRanch.

On your way in you may have missed that we have a policy on screen names here at JavaRanch. Basically, it must consist of a first name, a space, and a last name, and not be obviously fictitious. Since yours does not conform with it, please take a moment to change it, which you can do right here.

As to your question, it has been asked many, many times before. Please use the Search link at the top of the page to find the previous, very extensive, discussions.
