I've downloaded/installed JavaJDK6

I've also DL'ed JDK6 Docs b/c it had the API Documentation (and the book I'm reading -- Head First Java -- says I need that.

Where do I unzip (or place) the API Documentation?

Thanks,
Will

Wherever you'd like. Then just open the index.html file in the root folder in your browser.

If you are online you read the API documentation here. A downloaded version for offline use is probably useful however. Where did you get your zip version from? I was looking for it the other day and couldn't seem to find it.

Campbell, you can download the JDK documentation from the Java SE download page. Scroll down to "Java SE 6 Documentation" and click the Download button to the right of it. It's a big download (50 MB or so).

Thank you very much Jesper. I have got it. I also now have a decent download speed (>500kB/sec) so it only took two minutes to download. Thank you again.
