Question to chennaiites:

Does anyone know of a software training institute in chennai that imparts a decent education of Java, J2EE etc?

Meanwhile, I am trying to find out if there is a Sun certified training center there.

Thanks.

Hi

THOMSON PROMETRIC TESTING (P) LTD
CHENNAI, Tamil Nadu 600034
Phone: 044-28241875 Site Code: II002

This is the test centre.

Digiterati in Adyar claims they are Sun partners. Maybe, u'll have to check with them. NIIT nungambakkam is a gud choice i believe. Personally, i would suggest not to choose a training centre.

Thanks for the info.

I also dont think it is good to a training center just to learn stuff.. but this is for a younger cousin of mine, who is just entering college (EEE).. and she wants to get some sort of exposure to different aspects of IT.
So she has decided to take up brief courses in programming, with Java being her language of choice, some database related courses, maybe some networking etc .. just so she can decide if she wants to make a future in it.. that is all

I have heard NIIT Nungambakkam is good. But better to enquire with the students who already take courses there. It depends upon the staff who is taking class.
