Motorola E398

Nokia 6610i

Nokia 6230

Howdy fellow ranchers,

It's finally time to retire my antiquated Siemens C-45, I cant bear the humiliation of having a phone that can only call and sms

The 3 phones above appear to be good value for the price paid.
Apparantly Motorola E398 has very good speakers, which would be a big plus if it is true.
I am not really looking for anything in specific, just good overall value for money.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

The telephone has to have text message and be able send e-mails. An the tarrifs must be good value. It might be worth your time to read Which-Mobile magazine before buying.

Thanks Gerald.
Over here in Malaysia, the options are somewhat limited. Most of the time, you buy the phone and the subscription separately. So, the deciding factor is the cost of the phone, and the features etc.
Anyway, I am going with the Motorola E398 because I am getting a good deal (around USD 250 for the phone and a bluetooth headset thrown in). It doesnt have FM, which would have been nice, but it can play mp3, so that should be ok. And it has got the rest of the standard stuff.

Cheers.
